Bringing Round House Back to the Family

Round House BBQ has always been more than a restaurant to our family. It was originally founded by my father-in-law, Chris Hancock, who poured countless hours of hard work, determination, and heart into creating a place where the Trenton community could gather around great BBQ. Over the years, Round House changed hands, but in 2026, the opportunity came to bring it back into the family. I knew this place deserved more than a fresh coat of paint—it deserved to be loved again. Since taking ownership, we’ve worked hard to renovate and reinvest in Round House while respecting the character and history that made it special in the first place. From restoring the property to refocusing on quality food, genuine hospitality, and community, our goal has been to build on the foundation Chris started years ago. Today, Round House BBQ is once again family-owned and operated, and we’re proud to carry its story forward as a BBQ restaurant rooted right here in the Downriver community. The building may look a little different, but the heart behind it is back where it belongs.
